Apricity
Apricity is a dos-à-dos book — two books bound as one, each opening from opposite ends, meeting in the middle. The warm side opens from the front as you are holding it now. Use it when life feels good — when you want to document the light, capture the joy, write yourself a letter from your best days that your future self can return to. The cold side opens when you flip the book over and begin from the other direction. Use it when the weight arrives — when you need to write the hard things somewhere safe, somewhere private, somewhere that will hold them without judgment. There are no prompts on either side. No framework. No right way to begin. Only open pages and the date line at the top of each spread to anchor your words in time — so that when you return to these pages you will know when this was true. The only practice this book asks of you is this — use both sides. Not equally, not on a schedule, not with any particular balance in mind. Simply — when the light comes, write the light. When the cold comes, write the cold. Over time the book fills from both ends and moves toward the middle. Two stories. One life. The whole truth of it.
